These are among the few things that made me 'happy' after BeePeeHPeePee 2009. What's important is these 'happy gifts' are shared with others ;) Thank you for making my days!
The next day after the event, the BeeMKayPeeM representative asked me to submit the printed certificates & the rest to her as she was about to return to the office in Putrajaya. She had collected the hardcopies of the research papers from all 4 colleges right after the event. 8 more things;

Surat2 rasmi yg dikeluarkan sempena BeePeeHPeePee 2009
… were supposed to be submitted on 4/12/2009 (Friday). I had been to the admin the day before to arrange for the 8th item & was supposed to collect them on that Friday. Unfortunately, I was unable to do so. Fell ill terribly suddenly that morning. Quite a shock to myself. My last MC was in 2007 & it was my 1st too. By 8am, it seemed like a 2nd MC was inevitable & I had to inform the unit’s secretary then (RI).
Alhamdulillah & I can’t Thank You enough to STA, RI & RS for driving me to the clinic after they finished their classes & later brought me to lunch with them. Nothing could stay in my stomach since 4 am & the lunch (I hesitated at 1st) was quite a relief. Of course I had to take the prescribed medicines afterwards. One of them helps prevent vomiting. Oddly enough I didn’t have stomach ache at all.
Oh, our chairman called as we arrived at the eatery. He explained something regarding things that we were supposed to submit to BeeMKayPeeM. I explained of my condition & he understandingly asked me to take a rest 1st as I was worried of the arrangement I had made the day before. He said he’ll take care of it.
“ … It’s okay, lillahi ta’ala..”, he said.
Praise be to Allah. 1st December was over. Good things & not so good things happened. The silver lining is something to look forward to.
I learned many things of course. Being me, I tried to avoid certain things too. But being who I was or had to be for that moment, I couldn’t of course.
One of the professors was 25 minutes too late, if counted from the start of the Presentation session. Opening Ceremony was about 30 minutes before that. The KayJay asked me to check on him. So I brisk walked from the library, up the stairs, to the parking lot, still not knowing whether he had arrived or not, trying to make the call at the same time.
Upon arriving at the banquet, I saw Mr. ISM having breakfast, 2 hours much later than the other committee. He’d been working almost non-stop too since the evening before. He was the other committee beside IS & me who came to work on Thursday the previous week – Eidul Adha holiday. Since office was not off that day, we had decided to come to work as it was the only chance for us to negotiate with the admin & librarian on certain pressing matters. Luckily IS didn’t plan on going back to his hometown in Perlis for the Raya.
Back to the professor- apparently he got lost for a bit & had waited in the other parking lot for quite some time, scrutinizing the new building in progress. Oh my…!
& so began our small talk…Yes, I had to escort him all the way, plus to the restroom.
Before that, I was actually already seated in room eLaR 1, set to listen to the 1st research presentation on the college’s MentorMenteeProgramme. Prior to that session, our R&D chairman beckoned to me outside the room. I was worried & nervous since he didn’t & couldn’t say anything, was trying to gain balance & composure, for about 1 minute as I stood before him. He leaned to the wall. Oh my…!
& so I had to be his back up, at least till he could get back steady on his feet, I had hoped.
Anyway, after all the professors were in their respective rooms, of course I then had to attend to the lady professor in the room I was in. She wasn’t so well that day. Said she had just returned from China on vacation with her family & arrived home 2 am that day. I helped to count the marks of her assessment on each paper presentation, not sure whether I should be doing it actually. But it was her request anyway.
I texted many times throughout the sessions, to various people (committee), & trying very hard at the same time not to seem rude as I was sitting on the front row, next to the professor. Since I couldn’t see what was going on outside/ in the other rooms, I had to check through others. It was funny afterwards realising that I texted certain instructions to the wrong committee, but that committee & a couple of others helped to get them done anyway, more than once. Bagus betulla korg...!
Oh well, the event has passed now. Next is another list of things to be compiled & submitted to the BeeMKayPeeM representative who came that day. She wrote down 8 items on the list, said I should be able to pass them through the KayJay so it could be passed by hand for a scheduled meeting over at BeeMKayPeeM next week.

What U said is true, "Dalam kesusahan, pasti ada kesenangan", InsyaAllah
Green depicts freshness, nature & well, 'green'! hehe... Seaweed green (dark shade) gives that mysterious but 'bountiful' element to show something that may seem unattractive but actually has its use.
Brought this for colleagues on the last day of work before the 1 week hol. The idea of making it been lingering in my head for like 3 or 4 months back. Conveniently i have some apples still in the fridge whilst i need to have the fridge empty (well, not so empty la) before i go back to Serdang the next day. So i made it & it was oh, so easy!
Photos are from the one i made at home, to which i added the strawberries, bought by my SIL from Cameron.
Apple Crisp Recipe
Ingredients
7 tart apples (royal gala is nice), peeled (x peel pun xpe, wash with salt water, skin is rich in fiber!), cored and sliced
4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice (/Organic Vinegar e.g. Elken Vinergy series)
1 Preheat oven to 375°F(/200 celcius). In a mixing bowl, combine apples, lemon juice, and vanilla. Toss to combine. 2 Layer sliced apples in a 9 x 12-inch (or approximately the same size) baking pan.(Then sprinkle over them some raisins & chopped strawberries - optional) 3 Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and oatmeal in a bowl (& sunflower seeds). Cut in the butter (tekan2/pecah2kan sambil gaul tu till they become like crumbles). Sprinkle sugar mixture over apples. 4 Bake for 45 minutes or until topping looks crunchy and apples are tender.Serves 8. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (/cold milk/yogurt)
The Apples also can be substituted with Bananas :)
We ordered according to what were on the menu; My friend ordered regular Fried Rice but was given Kampung Fried Rice (which had lotsa bird's eye green chillies-super spicy, not to her liking-but i like!). My other friend ordered fried noodle with cockles but was given fried noodle sans the cockles. i ordered a roselle drink but was given tamarind juice instead! Come on, like i've never had enough of roselle & tamarind juices when i was little to know the difference! People, don't ever go there- unless u'd like to sample what were the opposites! ;p
You may not have long hair or a closet full of tie-dye, but you definitely dance to the beat of your own drum. (And you may even play the drum as well.)
You are a true free spirit. You don't let yourself be weighed down by rules and expectations.
You are creative, philosophical, and caring. You want everyone to have a better life.
For you, the worst thing in the world is being stuck in some rat race. You rather be broke than have to wear a suit every day.
I had to make a space for me own laptop since works were getting quite demanding. Felt so lucky to be able to continue work when the computer broke down...!
2008 The breakdowns were still happening. My laptop remains a loyal help (i bring at least 3 bags everyday-laptop bag, handbag& me lunch bag), & i remained a loyal 'form-filler' for item breakdown..!

I received it from the repair last Friday. I have yet to use it… haven’t really been able to since early last yr, to which it has been sent for repair 3x at least
Oct2009 It's the same form of problem the whole time. Lucky the person in charge has changed & a more concerned-person i noticed. Some improvements but they couldn't last long due to financial issue. Iza told me it's the motherboard that's of no use anymore. So, it was not till the last couple of weeks of the 1st semester that i heard the good news. Hopefully, i'l be able to display it's new look after this ;)
p/s: I've been the butt of jokes of anything related to 'memoboard'/'noticeboard' at the office ever since!?
Emak gave me a plastic full of roselle buds, about 30 of them maybe. She bought them at the Pasar Tani & thought I might want to make me some roselle cordial back in MT.
Worrying that they might turn bad if left in the fridge for a long time (I’m feeling so lazy lately) I decided to brew them in the night. Perhaps I could bring them to work tomorrow for my colleagues. It’s been food always being brought to office, so let’s bring drink for a change ;)
1. Clean the buds/petals first & throw away the round seed inside. Breaking them apart at the same time.
I found out that a certain species has soft but sharp hairs on them, particularly the one that my mom bought here, big & round ones. If they got stuck in your fingers, just pull them off under running water, though the act does seem like you’re pulling imaginary thorns (they were so tiny & almost invisible, u could only feel them when you put your fingers together, which signals that they are already stuck there! :p )
So try to buy/find big & longish roselle buds as my youngest sister and I noticed that these are the ones that do not have such prickly hairs at all when we made them during last eid. We got them from a relative’s house.
2. Boil 1 ½ litre of RO water, stir in ¾ or 1 kg of sugar along with the roselle bits.
3. Brew for half an hour.
Roselle’s colour & flavour are quite strong, so you can drain the first brew and repeat the process with the same roselle bits. Otherwise, brew once for abt 45 min. Keep the cordial in a bottle in the fridge so you can easily fix up a roselle drink whenever you want later :)
The drained roselle can be kept in the fridge also & serve along with pancakes/scones/pudding or even on its own.
I made roselle drink for the office for 2 days in a row. Kept it in a 2 litre tupperware in the fridge for anyone’s access. Didn’t bring any on the next day, which was also the last day of working before the 1 week break. But SHAH came in front of me with a glass in her hand asking if I brought any, unfortunately…
Still have another bottle of the concentrated brew at my place. Roselle drink anyone?
p/s:Did u know that roselle is another species of hibiscus?
Too lazy to cook but really wanted to eat something decent. Managed to drag myself to fix this;
1. Steam cut potatoes & carrots for about 20 minutes (depends on the size)
2. Arrange chopped nuggets/sausages, halved cherry tomatoes (chopped garlic sprinkled on them) on a baking pan.
3. Cut in some butter/ margarine & put the pan in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. – grill the tomatoes separately if you’re afraid they get burnt alongside the sausages in your oven (Lazy me just cook them together since the sausages were thinly sliced - purposely).
4. Once done, mix them together with the carrots & potatoes adding mayonnaise & some white pepper.Hmm, something that I can make again n again… Comfort food indeed!
