What Hurts The Most

By Rascal Flatts

I can take the rain on the roof of this empty house
That don't bother me
I can take a few tears now and then and just let 'em out
I'm not afraid to cry every once in a while
Even though going on with you gone still upsets me
There are days every now and again I pretend I'm ok
But that's not what gets me

What hurts the most
Was being so close
And having so much to say
And watching you walk away
And never knowing
What could have been
And not seeing that loving you
Is what I was tryin' to do

It's hard to deal with the pain of losing you everywhere I go
But I'm doin' It
It's hard to force that smile when I see our old friends and I'm alone
Still Harder
Getting up, getting dressed, livin' with this regret
But I know if I could do it over
I would trade give away all the words that I saved in my heart
That I left unspoken

What hurts the most
Is being so close
And having so much to say
And watching you walk away
And never knowing
What could have been
And not seeing that loving you
Is what I was trying to do

What hurts the most was being
so close
And having so much to say
And watching you walk away
And never knowing
What could have been
And not seeing that loving you
Is what I was trying to do

Not seeing that loving you
That's what I was trying to do

Somebody tried to break into my car!?

i was hoping dat the lock could still be used after we took out the metal thingy..alas...
i called perodua service centre abt changing the lock;
a) 1 whole set RM568 + labour charge RM80 = RM648
b) 1 door (if im willing to use 2 different keys for my car :p) RM167 + labour RM20 = RM187

The reason for wanting to change it was bcoz i usually alternate btwn using auto/manual lock. that's how i discovered theres sumthing stuck inside the lock.
Im still deciding..any1 know of a better offer?

Al-Khawarizmi Astronomy Complex

LadyGee, Ms.Sugar&Spice & I went to visit Kompleks Falak Al-Khawarizmi previosly known as Balai Cerap Al-Khawarizmi. Ive been meaning to go there since the 1st year I arrived in Masjid Tnh. More so after the officiation of Kampung Balik Batu, Tanjung Bidara as Perkampungan Hadhari. So it took me almost 3 yrs & fortunately enuff, thanks to the adventurous souls of the 2 ladies here, I was able to ride along ;p

The Kompleks opens everyday except Monday. U juz haf2 pay RM1 each for entrance (without the movie shows). But if u wud like to see the shows, u haf2 add another ringgit for the Planetarium show (Dark Star Adventure) or another RM2 for the 3D show (SOS Planet). Apart from the exhibitions & trying out certain apparatus, there r also interactive kiosks or puzzles u may want to try.
Ok, let the fotos do the talking. For more info. check out the website ; -"To Explore The Universe & The Creator's Power.

Switch It 2

"I Hate This Part"
by Pussycat Dolls

We're driving slow through the snow
On fifth avenue
And right now radio is
All that we can hear

Man we ain't talked since we left
It's so overdue
It's cold outside
But between us
It's worse in here

The world slows down but my heart beats fast right now
I know this is the part where the end starts

I can't take it any longer
Thought that we were stronger
All we do is linger
Slipping through our fingers
I don't want to try now
All that's left is goodbye to
Find a way that I can tell you
I hate this part right here
I hate this part right here
I just can't take your tears
I hate this part right here

Everyday seven takes of the same old scene
Seems we're bound by the laws of the same routine
Gotta talk to you now 'fore we go to sleep
But will we sleep once I tell you what's hurting me

The world slows down but my heart beats fast right now
I know this is the part where the end starts
I can't take it any longer
Thought that we were stronger
All we do is linger
Slipping through our fingers
I don't want to try now
All that's left is goodbye to
Find a way that I can tell you
I hate this part right here
I hate this part right here
I just can't take your tears
I hate this part right here

I know you'll ask me to hold on
And carry on like nothing is wrong
But there is no more time for lies
Cause I see sun set in your eyes

I can't take it any longer
Thought that we were stronger
All we do is linger
Slipping through our fingers
I don't want to try now
All that's left is goodbye to
Find a way that I can tell you

But I gotta do this
I gotta do it
I gotta do it
I hate this part

I gotta do it
I gotta do it
I gotta do it

I hate this part right here
I hate this part right here
I just can't take these tears
I hate this part right here

CRISIS by Robin Cook

I finally finished reading this novel! Twas a medical thriller very much intricated with malpractice law. It wouldn’t be a book that I’d pick 1st from any shelf…a 2nd or a 3rd, yes, most probably. 1 of my mentees lent it me last semester (abt. 2 ½ months ago) coz he was hoping that I’d be able to explain the ending to him, wic seemed to be bothering him at the time.

Told him I cant juz explain the ending by reading the final page & if he really wants to know he has 2 let me read thru the whole novel. & to have me read thru the whole novel wud require me months amidst the report writings dat I had 2 mark during dat month. He agreed & told me it actually belongs 2 his fren. Now dat worries me, coz I don’t like holding onto other’s property. He said he wouldn’t mind how long twud take 4 me to finish the novel.

Well, coming thru the final page of the story, I understand why the ending was difficult to fathom. I believe the writer wants the ending to be open to readers’ interpretation. & Yes, it still is vital to read the whole book thru. For dat is how u get necessary contextual clues. Anyhow, if ure curious abt ‘concierge medicine’, read the novel. The writer’s extensive professional-personal (uhuh…) opinion is included at the end.

Now, I juz hope he’l accept my interpretation of the ending. Simply, accept it. *sigh*

Seminar P&P BMKPM 2008 - Selesa Beach Resort, PD

2-5 December 2008

I got d same feeling taunting me as when I attended d BPHPP 2008 in Ayer Keroh. Some ppl who didn’t attend dat Bengkel (workshop) asked me d same question dat was asked by some during d Bengkel. Well, d same answer was heard of course.

One of d judges seem 2 recognize me during d seminar. There’s no wonder there, he’s d 1 who evaluated my presentation during d Bengkel in Kuantan last yr. But I kudnt bring myself 2 talk/greet him whatsoever. I kud only smile at him. I mean, …who am I? I only participated for d 1st time last yr & in d seminar dis yr, I was only d ‘exhibition person’!? Yep, I learned later during d closing ceremony dat d xhibition was truly done for cutting the cost compared 2 d previous yrs.

There were some behind-the-scene tales regarding our preparation/tasks. But all there is to it is dat, it’s now in d past, so juz leave it be. Wat’s d point of talking abt things dat we have no power in changing… ? But those who were involved; d perps, u guys really shocked & let me down. U let a lotta ppl down actly…

Another unfortunate news is dat, KMM didn’t win anything dis yr. From wat I heard, every yr KMM wud at least get d consolation prize. But not dis yr unluckily…

Something during the Prize-giving ceremony reminded me of d poem The Race (sorry, cant remember the writer's name). B4 dat, during the Pleno session, amidst d discussion, 1 participant cum presenter stood up 2 inform dat he noticed his research ppr was not in the list. I remember him. His presentation during d workshop in Ayer Keroh was impressive. He’s d only male Sc. Lectrr who I noticed presented in English. Not juz dat, his content was quite clearly understood by most of us even tho’ he presented on a Sc. Subject.

Well, back 2 d Pleno, he stood up d 2nd time later asking for explanation/reason as 2 why it happened becoz d chairperson didn’t provide explanation d 1st time. It was admitted as a weakness on the committee’s part due to latenite work. My fren & I noticed dat dat’s not d only ppr dat wasn’t mentioned in the Pleno. Some ppl mite think how kiasu dis guy is…but I tink he has strong belief in his research dat made him persistent abt it.

Thus, during d prize-giving ceremony, as successful papers & the presenters were announced & invited to take their prizes, to our surprise, the 2nd prize belonged to that persistent Sc. Lecturer fr KMNS…?! U shud hear the applause then. It’s as loud as that of a 1st prize winner being applauded if not louder :D That was a nice moment. Especially for the winner of course :)

Oh well, farewell Seminar P&P 2008. Wat’s in it for me in 2009? I cant even begin to wonder…?! Brrr
