p/s: okay, okay,...after seeing 2 feedjits on my blog -ppl looking 4 d recipe, my guilt has so far grown. So here it is…[abridged version]

• chopped onion
• diced pineapple
• a small tin of tomato puree
• a tablespoon of brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar/ any organic vinegar
• 2 tablespoons of soy ketchup
• ½ a teaspoon of black pepper powder (optional)

1. Sauté the onion, then the chopped pineapple.
2. Once u see the juice starts to come out, pour in the tomato puree.
3. When it starts to boil, sprinkle the brown sugar (u may add according to taste) & the vinegar (here I used red rice vinegar)
4. Finally add the soy ketchup & the black pepper powder
   

Nice to dip in nuggets / as the base sauce for pizza ;)

These were some of the follow-up activities on a short story that we read; Death and the family by Shahnon Ahmad. Funny, unpredictable, dramatic acts, demos etc... Most didnt know that the writer is one of the national laureates alongside A. Samad Said. Well, u can guess why, after the hype over his controversial satire, S**T .
